For Shimmy and Shine 2025, I chose to take a new path and host the festival in a different theatre. The stage was slightly smaller, but the space welcomed 180 seats and from the very beginning, the response was extraordinary.
The event sold out completely. Tickets became highly sought after, and it was a joyful challenge for people to secure their place in the audience. The energy surrounding the festival was undeniable, and the night unfolded as something truly special.
The feedback that followed was overwhelming. Both students and audience members described it as the best edition so far, and honestly I couldn’t agree more. The performances were powerful, emotional, and refined. My students shone brightly on stage, each one radiant, confident, and technically impeccable. They delivered with grace, strength, and heart.
I am incredibly happy and deeply grateful for the impact this festival created. Shimmy and Shine 2025 was a reminder of how far we have come, how strong our community is, and how magical things become when art is shared with love and intention.
And this journey continues Shimmy and Shine 2026 is already on its way.
